Going there in any way at all will result in an irrevocable ban. I managed to get Line In detected as an Interface and ive successfully recorded some noodling as an audio track. The signal is there, i can listen to playback from Windows itself.

Im running my bass through a multieffect, and ive connected that to my Line In jack on my PC via AUX cable.
